My Journey

It was a long time ago (more than 3 months, I now) since I had written in my blog. That was because after I finished in Brighton, I had begun a journey through the rest of Europe for one month (Paris, Vallendar, Schoenstatt, Frankfurt,Nuremberg, Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Venice, Firence, Rome) and them through Turkey Istanbul, Ankara, Cappadocia, Pamukkale,Kussadasi, Epheso) . After that I have been in Chile. I have not even shown all the photos I have taken all this great months to my family and friends....

All this journey, this trip had made me think about all my life, my goals, everything. Had been in all this cities, places and countries how I studied in school or in all the books I have read, changes everything.

Only the fact of been in the same place where almost 2000 years ago st Paul had talked to the first Christians, for instance, it incredible. Now I saw the European history in a different point of view.

Something I understood it was in Chile and Argentina, we are in so many aspect, European, more than others countries in America, and you felt. Been there is almost the same as home.

Other things I increase my believes about the aberration of maxims and all kind of socialism spread this days. Visited the ex communist countries develop that feeling. Be in front of the Hungarian Parliament house, with a flag with a hole in the middle, which represent the freedom of the Budapest. A little bit of history. After the conquer by the soviet army, the new government tried to change the flag, taken off the apostolic cross, for the sickle and the hammer, the communist logo. One night, some people took the flag and take off that logo, night by night, until the government gave up and put the original flag.

And now, that flag is the icon of freedom, the icon of the fight against communism.
